taos

taos artThe first thing we went to is the Rio Grande Bridge where we can look down to the beautiful river along with mountains. Briefly, we took pictures of ourselves to show that we did ‘touch’ the place! Rafters swiftly paddled along into the raging river as we glanced at them go… I really wanted to do this the same as they do but already did rafting last year in Tennessee. However, one day I would do the rafting with my family or friends to make everlasting memories within nature and warmth in our hearts.

At last, we went to a very random restaurant which was known for the best pizza in Taos of New Mexico. Our waitress happened to know us as she told about herself that she came from Farmington, Connecticut and she worked in Oak Hill School for special needs students! So there has some small world going on! Anyways, we ate different kinds of pizza and they are amazingly good. We each had individual kind of pizza except the four of them: Sophia, Nancy, Anne, and Barb had one whole pizza for themselves. I had a yummy chicken breast covered with smoked mozzarella and parmesan cheese pizza! Finally, after our food adventure, we are ready to go to Taos pueblo…

The Mother Nature lures me to their enormous covered mountains with thousands of lush green trees and plants that leave me in awe. I could imagine how they lived in the past without tourism…

The Red Willow River just moved softly as we crossed over to other conjoined and stacked on the top of pueblos with stores side by side. Beside all of the homes surrounded a lot of dirt space where we took a stroll and looked around us. That moment was breathtaking when we looked up high as the mountains stay put as the sun shined above them. After that, we did not really linger around and decided to leave to somewhere as we went to the center of the town.

Um, we had a satisfactory and very fatiguing day for us. Hopefully we will have good sleep for tomorrow!

Buenos Noche!
