This morning Nancy woke up with a Great Spirit glad. Yes! I am so glad because we can travel another town or city in New Mexico! Also, New Mexico is a magnificent place because I understand now what happened to their change life and language too. But some of their cultures they still keep it. The Greening of the New Mexico Santa Fe Prep Library was set up three years ago. It is very interesting and little bit complicated because that building everything is natural. I will explain to you what is inside the building; they use solar system, they don’t use a lot electricity because they have light from the solar tubes, they use the water from the rain then save it and later watering for plants. The downstairs the bathrooms have solar tubes. They put glass with a little tube that is let light to reflect from the sun. I saw the floors are 12 x 12 squares but each square is individual and they never use air conditioners. They only use natural air because inside the building is not hot and cold it is warm. That is why inside the building is warm. During the winter time, inside the building they did not use so much oil for the heater because students are patient with the cold. In the front of The Green building has a gorgeous landscaping architecture and students made gardens for this school and students try to ask the community to give them for more plants then the community gave them so many plants. We went to Plaza Santa Fe again to go to the churches. So, one small church called Loretto it was for only for girls’ school and nuns. When we entered inside the church which was gorgeous and we saw the spiral stairs with no support. The second big church in Plaza Santa Fe still uses the church but is very antique. Inside the church is more attractive because there is so much design inside and is huge also. But I saw some employees clean up, repainting, and work everything what they needed to do. We went to labyrinth again for Nancy Zurek because she was ill and she could not go with us to Plaza Santa Fe, so she went! : ) We went to the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA). Many arts is beautiful because is so different than old fashioned arts. All drawings and paintings by Daphne Odjig. The other museum we went in Plaza Santa Fe which was New Mexico History Museum to learn what happened a long time ago in Nueva Méjico and how white people traveled from east to west. We saw and entered the old house of the governor’s museum and I saw like over 30 names who were the governors of Nueva Méjico and inside the museum the information in English and in Spanish then I did read a lot about it. The museum was huge but we could not see and read all of the history. Before we went to the museum we were hungry and I really wanted eat Mexican food then I ate two Beef Fajitas was delicious. Narelis wanted eat in a restaurant because she was complaining too much because she was hungry but I am not hungry so much because I ate two Beef Fajitas. We found a restaurant called Tomasita’s Santa Fe and it is Mexican foods with red and green chile so hot! We chose the foods on the menu and I picked Super Combination Plate “ For the HUNGRY appetite”; 1 rolled enchilada, 1 tamale, 1 relleno, 1 taco, rice, beans and red and green chile. Mexican foods and delicious and we were fill up. Also, Barbara French and I tried to eat green chile hot for Olympics with bread. But Kevin Ramos, Narelis and I ate the green chile alone for Olympics, who will win? So, Narelis and Kevin won but my body became hot, burning up and sweat. I drank like 10 times then I was like dog. HAHAHAHA!! We laughed so much at the restaurant and it was FUN! We had so much fun!! More than I have had in my life. VIVA MÉJICO!!
