Diá cinco: Catching Up/Shopping/ Santa Fe Plaza

Today, we were catching up with everything like our journals and investigation.

We were supposed to go to Taos but Nancy Zurek was sick because the chicken working at the laptopspirit has got into her and she was sickened from yesterday I guess because of the chicken race which I’m not going to be in depth because I don’t want to ruin the Pueblo’s culture. SO, we decided to relax and go to Santa Fe Plaza instead. So we went to Santa Fe and we went to the Jewelry store because that was the first stop we thought to stop by. Narelis, Cesar, Kevin and Jacob bought jewelry except for me so I decided to wait a while to go to the other jewelry stored that I really liked, therefore I’m gonna wait till tomorrow to go that place.

Then we looked around in Santa Fe and we went to the Chapel courtyard because the chapel was closed. We saw very unique wind some kind of statues looking (I don’t know what that thing is.) We strolled down to another chapel and went to labyrinth; we were all walking in some kind of maze to the middle to pray to God for something you want to pray for. I have to pray for something special but I’m not gonna tell you because it is between my business is my own and God.

walking around the plazaWE finished our prayers and left to look around in the other store; Poster was the name of one of the stores we went: there we looked around the store; I saw some pretty painting from various artists. I want to buy one painting for my maé but it cost $150.00. If my Maé had given me at least $200 dollars, I would make that price but I couldn’t so I had to deal with the money I had so I got my older sister a CD, a Brazilian music,  and myself an Arabic groove. I also got the store’s website so I can order something nice there from my home in Connecticut.

We took a walk to other stores just to browse not purchase anything… well that’s a good thing so we can save our money for the next day and the day we go shopping again.

Then, we went back to the van and drove around town to the pueblo home off of the highway I think and observed by looking at them by the window then from there we went back to our so called “HOME” in the dorm and started to chill while I was finishing up the investigation for Day 4 so I finished and ate dinner.

Now we are typing about our day in Day 5 in Santa Fe Plaza. By 11 o’clock we have to be in bed.  GOOOD night!
