Plaza Santa Fe/Observed and Shopped
Day 5

We woke up in the dawn and typed our journals and investigation.  We needed to catch up. We ate breakfast and made our own lunch. We went to Plaza Santa Fe, New Mexico. We are very fatigued about from typing journals and investigations during the morning and afternoon time.

We were supposed to go to Taos but instead we went to Santa Fe plaza because Nancy got sick and she didn’t want to miss that day of Taos. We went to Santa Fe and we went to Turquoise Trail Fine Jewelry& Arts. Cesar, Narelis, Jacob and I shopped. I brought for my mother...??? Ha-ha. The man was nice to give us a discount.

 We went to the Loretto Chapel courtyard. The Loretto church was brown like in the mountains and topped with a cross.  We saw very rare wind statues with different kind shapes. We went to another chapel and went to a labyrinth; we walked with some kind of the maze and at the middle of the maze to pray to God. The mazes look like brown, a large round “stamp” with square and circular stones on the path.  The middle has gold circle to pray something to God, family, relationship or Great Spirit. I did pray to God and for my family. We went to a fountain and there lot of presents and pictures to remember some teenagers who died too young. The fountain had statues of horses, little girl, 3 men, 1 man hold crook and things in the top. We went to a different store and observed some art, some jewelry, and some statues that I didn’t know.

Barbara French drove around some of Santa Fe’s neighborhoods and it was like driving in a labyrinth because we got lost but we finally come out and arrived to dorm of NMSD. We typed our journals and investigation. But good thing we complete our journals and investigations. I had fun observing Santa Fe plaza and I liked walking labyrinth of the maze and pray Great Spirit.
