Dia dos: OLA RODEO DE SANTA FE

Today is the day that we go to RODEO de Santa Fe.

We couldn’t even take pictures but I saw a man was sitting on the wild bull and he was hanging in there with the wild bull. I was feeling uneasy to see that man fall since Nancy told me to stop being Eastern, BE WESTERN so I was trying to be a western for a while but till I saw a another man who got hurt really bad and hit his body on to the fence. My jaw have dropped with concerned but at the same time feeling energized by the crowd cheering for that guy.at the rodeo

The exhilaration from the people on the audience was really cheering and rooting for the man who is riding the bull has been really shocked to me because why you be cheering for a man who has falling of a wild bull. I’m so eastern and love it to be eastern.  It may be fun to watch for the western people but to me as an eastern I don’t think so. I wouldn’t even dare to go riding on a wild bull. NOT even a bet, I will not do it!! I FORGOT TO tell u something very funny and please don’t make fun of me when I said this A cow’s crap PIE landing on my leg when I was sitting right up front of the fence while the cow was running off like crazy! I was mortified, it was like I was thinking out loud: NOOOOOOOOOO, GET THIS @#$%! OFF OF ME! But I had to keep the serene.

Sophia, be serenity to great serenity, Sophia

SO NEXT, I saw a horse march something I have no idea what the process of this rodeo but I saw some nice horse. It made me think of my grandmother had a friend horse while she was growing up as a child she would talk to the horse like everyday and washes the horse, make sure the horse was happy, feed the horse, and even riding the horse for exercise. I forgot his name when she told me his name but I couldn’t remember the name. She would cry or show anger if anything happen to him because that horse was her best friend ever and she would tell me stories about her childhood friend horse.

My Grandmother was born and raised in a large farm with her Black-African American mother and Native Indian-Black African American Father along with her two sisters in Alabama. She was the oldest of the two sisters. She had chickens, cattles, horses, pigs and sheeps. She told me her lifestyle of farming in her homeland in Alabama. Unfortunately, something happen to the farm but I don’t have any idea because I’m not sure.

I had a great time at the rodeo except seeing that man falling from the cow poor guy I’m sure he will be okay as God is watching…

santa fe plazaOH I forgot an another great day I have to tell you about we also went to the Santa Plaza and it was the most traditional and I really like traditional things like Jewelry: like birthstone, and various of jewelry like pearls, diamonds, mineral stones, and everything else I can imagine. THEN, we went to see the pottery by Native American Indians. We saw them place out on a stand and there was a sign that said, “DO NOT TOUCH”. I was kind of tempted to touch to see how it feel and determined to know what material they use in pottery that such as clay. But I can only look at it and imagine how that person made it by hands and sculpted it. I can imagine they made it so beautifully and it must be hard to do by hand. Native American Indian is part of my genes from my mother’s father’s mother…but I can’t explain what tribe because I don’t know.

SO therefore after the pottery store we went to see that Artist of New Mexico and there some really nice painting, I always want to know the process of the painting , how long does it take to be better of  painting just about anything because  I might take painting as a hobby and take classes at JOANS for it. My heart’s desire is painting…. Painting be a way of expressing how you felt in some certain way even you are in high spirits, heartrending, and very spiritual.

WE went back to the dorm and start typing and NOW….I have to go to bed so therefore I have got some ZZZS so I CAN BE FRESH IN the MORNING! GOOOOOOOOOOD Night
