Day Uno

Open daylight has appear into my bedroom. I woke up, feeling drained but I knew that I have to get up and be awaken for this trip I’m heading to Santa Fe, New Mexico. I’m so excited to go and feeling the acceleration in my spirit that tells me this place is going the most extraordinary place I wanted to explore from my generation of a lifetime.

I thank God the most that I’m the chosen to go the second time ON THE ROAD! I went to ASD and I waited for the rest of the students to come. Then we drove to the airstrip in New York. It was about 2 hours drive. We went to the airstrip and got checked up by the security, got our plane tickets and went aboard to the plane to head out to Dallas then from there to Albuquerque.

I really hate the fact that I have to leave my familia, not knowing that they will be okay, according to my mother. She just had a foot pin removal from before in a cast with the pin in her foot. She hasn’t feeling herself lately. I just really need to do better because if I don’t, I’m gonna ruining my life. But till then I have to make the best of Sophia while I’m at Santa Fe, New Mexico…

I have arrived to the plane with my group and we are taking off to Dallas. It was about an one hour flight as the plane was moving, I catch some z’s and NO I did NOT drool. When the plane touch the runway and it was a bumpy landing. I had to rouse before the landing. We were in Dallas before I was even Iawakened.

We went off the plane to catch another flight to Albuquerque.
We ate lunch with our own money... I really hate the food in the airport you never know someone is trying to poison the food you eat, that’s why I don’t trust the airport at all… But I had to eat because I was hungry. I can’t not go anywhere with a empty stomach. So we finish eating then we have to wait for our next flight to New Mexico. We had to wait for a long time but it was really 4 hours because it was being repaired. That’s okay because as long we are in God’s hands and the airport is going to make sure we get there but have a safe flight to New Mexico. IT was SO long FLIGHT! It was about like 2 hour’s flight. I thought it was gonna be that long but hey, we made it.

I was sooooooo tired that I just wanted to drop but I knew that could have been impossible because there is a dorm in New México. There was New Mexico School for the Deaf. We drove through the gate and we thought it was going to let us in but there was no one so Anne and Cesar had to find someone to let us in so they left while the rest of us were in the van trying to stay awake but Jacob was already asleep.

Cesar came back and told Barbra French to take us around by the first entrance. So she drove and there was Anne Nutt waiting at the security station of the school. We drove to the dorm and set up our bags, settled down and head out to bed.

I’m looking forward for the next day of New Mexico in Santa Fe.
