DAY 1

The day started with my annoying uncle kicking my bed to wake me up. It was around 8:30 in the morning and my uncle was going to take me to McDonalds to meet up with the group. I was lucky that they were willing to pick me up closer to my home then at ASD. I join with the group and said hasta la vista to my uncle.

I hate flying plain and simple so I was not so joyous with the idea of flying on two planes. I consider planes screaming flying metal death traps. Also I hate getting pat down by security cause my cochlear implant can’t go through the metal detector. The first flight was to Dallas, Texas home to the best football team ever (aside from the Miami Dolphins of course). The second flight had mechanical issues and the people who were fixing the issue need to be fired considering it took those so called aviation experts an hour to fix a simple aviation issue. To make things worse the pilot was missing. Once the pilot arrived (in my opinion he took his sweet time too) the plane finally took off. Towards the end of the flight I saw some beautiful mountains. Seeing that, two thoughts occurred to me, first I thought it was wicked to see mountains in the air then I freaked that the plane would crash the mountains. I was happy to have landed in Albuquerque.

Let me tell you I always wanted to go to Santa Fe and now that I am here I feel like going all country. Driving down the desert road while spotting some good old fashion road kills. I felt like a renegade and wanted to make a name like Jesse James. I’m going to have a blast in New Mexico and the next nine days will be some redneck desert fun.
