Heyy!! We are on the road in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I was very excited to go this place because it was our first time to go to west. But a little problem with the old “Lucy” joke from last year in Tennessee. Anne and Narelis always bother me – ENOUGH! This year we are at peace. We arrived to LaGuardia airport in New York and we had to pay one bag a $15. The traffic was smooth to drive and perfect to go to New York airport. That day in Dallas, Texas the temperature was 98. So, when we were in the plane NY to Dallas, Texas I was looking at the scenery through the northeast and the southeast to compare with the west. We arrived at Dallas, Texas in the airport to get another plane to go to Albuquerque, NM. We arrived early and we were calm, but we were so much hungry like a “wolf”. We ate Chinese food but the food was mediocre because it was not cooked by Chinese people and it had a very different taste. Also, we stayed in the airport layover and we were very, very impatient because we wanted to be there in Santa Fe. We watched on TV about Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. Also, I saw Native American and Mexican people. When we left from Dallas, Texas we were fatigued because were still hungry, the food was not good and we wanted to go to the dormitory in New Mexico School for the Deaf (NMSD). Finally, we arrived at Albuquerque, New Mexico. We were joyful, hungry and exhausted. I brought Taco Doritos, Oreo cookie, Spicy nachos Doritos and other kind of chocolate too. Then we picked up the van to go to NMSD, which was during the late night. Barbara French drive for us and was so bored because there were no lights, not many city lights like NYC, but I saw the gorgeous stars at night which was very, very different than in the east. Really I can’t imagine it and it is so gorgeous! I always bring any kind of food or whatever for sharing and also in case of emergency when we arrive in somewhere so I have something to do. When we arrived at NMSD we were so tired then the driver Barbara French parked at the gate and was closed with the lock. So we stayed in the van for waiting to someone open the gate. Then, later Anne and I out the van to looking the security. Finally we found the dormitory then good night to everyone immediately. NOSOTROS ESTAMOS EN NUEVA MEJICO 2009!! |
