60TH ANNUAL “Rodeo” DE Santa Fe Their 7 events by 1880s were calf roping, team roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc, bareback bronc riding, bull riding and barrel racing. But current rodeo 4 events are team roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc, and grand entry. Grand entry is the riders carrying with many flags, including the American flag, state flag, and banners in place of support. Saddle bronc is riding on a rough bull or horse and who stays on longer, at least 8 seconds will win. Steer wrestling is when the rider jump off of his horse and wrestling bull by grabbing its horn. Team roping is steer has been roped by head and the heel so the rider throws and ties down bull or horse.
