Their rodeo type event became popular in big cites of the eastern. Many rodeo events were base on the real life like cowboys and cowgirls to cattle ranching. Rodeo competitions first came out in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1872, but Prescott, Arizona was different by holding the first professional rodeo when it awarded trophies in 1888.

Their 7 events by 1880s were calf roping, team roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc, bareback bronc riding, bull riding and barrel racing. But current rodeo 4 events are team roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc, and grand entry. Grand entry is the riders carrying with many flags, including the American flag, state flag, and banners in place of support.

Saddle bronc is riding on a rough bull or horse and who stays on longer, at least 8 seconds will win. Steer wrestling is when the rider jump off of his horse and wrestling bull by grabbing its horn. Team roping is steer has been roped by head and the heel so the rider throws and ties down bull or horse.
