Tina met us in the dormitory for a visit and she gave us an opportunity to go to the museum in the Tennessee School for the Deaf. She waited for us in the front of the museum. When we entered the museum it was interesting to see the canoe made by students from TSD. We arrived to Oak Ridge, Tennessee for a picnic lunch. When we finished our picnic we entered in the American Museum of Science & Energy. I saw many elderly people enter. But some of them worked a long time ago in this building.
Then we entered in the history about Germany, World War 2 in Japan, when we invented bombs and more. Inside of the museum it talked about atomic bombs called "Little Boy". That bomb was dropped on Japan. In Japan many, many people died because United States dropped bomb on The last thing before we left the building, Anne met an elderly man named William Tewes for an interview. He was talking about his story of what happened a long time ago. William Tewes made the bomb K-25. When he talked with us, I can't believe our lucky interview because it was very absorbing. We're always glad to be "On the Road" in Tennessee and we are tired because we always learn every day to write in our journal and we're busy. |
