Today, we went to Norris Dam State Park in Tennessee.
We left our dormitory at 10:05. Barb French drove to Norris, Tennessee for us to see the Norris Dam Museum. Before we entered in the museum, we walked to the front of the museum and yelled over to the man that if we can go in the museum. The man just closed the museum and we said aahhhh?!!! Then the man asked us if we needed a bathroom and we said, no. Also he asked us where we are from. Anne said we come from the American School for the Deaf West Hartford, Connecticut. Then the man said okay to enter to our museum. So we are so lucky!!! We saw the inside of the museum which had many things that were antiques but it was amazing.
Nancy showed me how was United States was before in 1750. The museum was GREAT!!!!! I am happy that we saw the wonderful things in the museum!
We saw the waterwheel which was old and was good. We walked in the forest for a short hike and we went to the river to get cool. Vilmarie found a crayfish, and Anne found a newt. I didn’t find any animal in the river.
Also we went to see Norris Reservoir which was huge. Norris Reservoir began in 1933 and in 1936 it started to fill with water. This place I like because the Norris Dam Museum was astonishing and also we enjoyed learning new things with it. This was a beautiful place.
I felt my brain filled with Tennessee history.
