Whew! Our bus went on the road to the Smoky Mountains and Cherokee Indian’s reservation. We saw lots of sightseeing the scenery of Indians and the Smoky Mountains. Our feet exercised just about every where until back to our “home”! Four of us and the three sisters; Barbra French, Anne Nutt, Nancy Zurek went back to the dorm as bubbleheads! Because we have been traveling in a bumpy bus which makes our heads moving like crazy!playing outside

While I observed the museum of Cherokee, I noticed that my eyebrow, nose, mouth and skin are similar to theirs. It makes me wonder if I have any Indian blood. It’s a great time for me to consider about my ancestry and I wanted to know about my family’s history. You know, history makes who you are and proud of where you come from… Actually, my family came from Dominican Republic, so I have no idea about my history and relationship between here and Dominican Republic. All I know is that my family came here from D.R. for citizenship of immigration to have a better life. So maybe one day I may find the answers to my questions.

Pottery to smoking pipes, that kind of stuff is so fascinating because the Indians made them from the scratch to finish. Right now, we people tends to use factory goods to use for our daily lives. What a big difference between the lives of Indians and ours.

potteryThe Smoky Mountains is so magnificent; I mean there are so many trees above us letting the sun shining in for us, far back from the soft blue mountains combined with green mountains covered with trees, and trails all the way to the top of the mountains made more beautiful because the road shines and reflect the trees to look so bright. Looking at the trees and the mountains made me feel calm and thinking about stuff. Also it was my first time for me to go to a national park in the South. So it’s a really great experience for me to have this kind of adventure.

While we traveling back to dorm, I wanted to have some shut eye for a while because my eyes have been begging me to rest so I obeyed my eyes! Why my eyes! I decided to name my both eyes: left eye- Nora and right eye – Nari. Nari and Nora felt better when I gave them rest. Anyways, enough speaking of my eyes, we had a tremendous time today.

Thanks to my mind because yesterday, my mind was telling me that we will have a tremendous time today. So we did! Guys, you better think something positive, positive will happen! Keep that mind! Next report will be waiting for you! Wink!
