Today is the last day of our exciting, adventurous trip to SF! Well today, most of us slept in. Once we were awake we started on out journals and investigations that we are behind on. At about 10:30, we went to the museum that they have there at the school. The lady told us about the history and all the different buildings and areas the school has been in. The school has originally been started in the SF area. Then it moved as more students started to come to school to a bigger place in SF. After more students kept coming into CSD they had moved to Berkeley. There the school has been built 4 more times. Then in 1980, the school moved here into Fremont because of the fault line, but here in Fremont the school is on another fault line anyway. After that we came back here to work on our journals. We have been working on our journals ever since. My favorite thing about this trip was the tide pool that we stopped by on the way to Big Sur. I loved the variety of nature there and the Pacific Ocean. The thing that I liked less was the Aquarium because that day I felt sick and I didn’t have a chance to enjoy it as much. This year we it was more of the city instead of the nature kind of place. Last year it was more of mountains and spread out towns and such but this year we were in the city which was a hustle. That was the thing that I wasn’t crazy about this year. Last year was more at our own pace; this year was more of a rush. This whole trip was fun and I got to touch California! Yay! I’ve seen the east, the Midwest, last year we saw the Northwest and NOW I’ve seen California. That’s the end of our amazing trip. I hope that you enjoyed our trip as much as we did. Until next year, well there isn’t a next year for me but until then, AU REVOIR!!! |
