Day nine was our officially last day.
We visited and went to the Golden Gate Bridge. People of different nations all over the world went there; some took pictures with their families by the bridge. We ate lunch as we watched people walk past us.
Afterwards, we drove over the Golden Gate Bridge, so most of the way I was so exhausted so I slept when we arrived at the Muir Woods. We looked around, took pictures and decided to go up the hiking trial. It was so gorgeous and much worse than yesterday, but I needed the nature hike to make up the ones I will miss this summer. The weather was perfect, not too hot or too cold. It was beautiful when the sun peeked out from the leaves, the smell of the redwoods and pine tree. Somehow, Darren, Kangni and I got separated with Charise so it was just the four of us that went ahead. When we reached to the “top” Darren asked a couple if the Ocean View was down the trail, they said yes so we went down. There was a lot of steps and it wasn’t right. Ocean View went view from the top, not the bottom. So, we didn’t feel right and went back up, somehow meeting the other half of the group. The teachers weren’t happy, so back we went. We walked the whole way back; we didn’t have a chance to go to see the Ocean View.
We walked back to the van and just passed out on the way home. The hike left us so exhausted.
So tomorrow; our last day.
