Struggled to
get sleep overnight, I was very tired and I can’t sleep because of my stomach ache from the Chinese restaurant. I was surprised that my shrimp dinner made me to be sick and I had never got sick from that. I ate the toasted oats cereal and it was my first time to eat cereal in this trip. My throat seemed getting better everyday which was very good.

Later on, we went to Berkeley and it was around an hour to drive there. There were many restaurants in the city and near campus of UC-Berkeley which it was very extraordinary. I was very amazed that many restaurants were in almost every block!

Then, we got off the van and we went to the music store because the three ladies wanted to go to the music store which had old songs from 1970s. I was very boring because I am not fall in love with music but the store have other side which were DVD movies. So I looked around and I remember some old, comedy movies that I watched. It was kind of a long time waiting and I felt like come on already!

Anns KitchenAfter that, we went to Peet’s café and I was very thirsty. I bought the vanilla latte which was very delicious and it seemed to help my throat and to smooth my stomach. We went to the American restaurant, Ann’s Kitchen and I ordered my lunch, grilled ham and cheese sandwich which I did not really eat them all because I did still have a stomachache. We began to walk to the old CSD campus and we had to ask someone who knows the directions because the girls forgot the guide traveler’s book in the van. We called that book, the Bible because it helps us to get back from being lost.

Suddenly, we saw the People’s Park and there were a lot of history such as protests.Revolt One historical protest, the Governor Reagan announced that People’s Park must be end by now because of many protests and later, on May 30, 1969, 30,000 Berkeley people marched past the barrier from People’s Park to protest Governor Reagan’s compromise. But the National Guard for 24/7 and the barbed wires fence prevented them to enter the park. The protests had calmed down. Right now, it provided the recreation such as a basketball court and it was a regular open spot for everybody.

Spanish Style After we looked around the park, we saw beautiful Spanish-style structures campus which keeps the building to be cool from the wind and tile roofs. I imagined how CSD was very lucky to be here but CSD moved to Fremont because of the safety from the earthquake and more larger facilities. We stayed there for awhile and we took the picture of DAY 6 with some flowers.

Following after CSD, we went back to the downtown of Berkeley and we did stop at many stores for shopping such as Wet Seal and three floors store which I bought the UC-Berkeley sweatshirt with a hood. I can’t imagine if I go to UC-Berkeley and that downtown was almost having everything I need and want to buy something. We went to the last store which I don’t want to go there because there were enough shopping for all day and we don’t go here to spend all of the money. I saw the sports store in that store and I went to get a gaze of it.

Finally, the day was over and I should buy the sports stuffs because the kid’s choice day is the beach but I don’t know about it. So anyways, I will play with the rocks and throwing to the ocean but no hitting on the birds! The birds may follow me to everywhere and owe me back. So I can’t wait for Monterey Bay Aquarium tomorrow!
