Today was exciting. We went to Berkeley to look at the old CSD before it moved here to Fremont. We arrived and started
to look around the different store that they had there and the different venders that were set out on the sidewalk. There were so many that I wasn’t used to it because we don’t have 
any in CT except on days with tag sales and such. We went into this one cd and movie store…it was huge! There was so much it was a lot to go through to see if you wanted to buy anything. After that, we started to walk to see what restaurant we wanted to eat at because we were eating out instead of bag lunch like we have been doing. We walked up the left side of the street and finding nothing to eat, so we crossed the street to the other side and found this small café. When we got inside and all ordered, I realized that I was hungrier than I thought. I couldn’t wait for the food to arrive. Once the food arrived, I was so excited to start eating.
Once we were all done eating and we cleaned up, we left to look for the school.
On the way we passed the People Park. That is where the protest took place for the disability act and deaf rights, also the Vietnam War. I noticed that there were a lot of homeless people living in the park. I see a lot more homeless people around here than I do at home. After seeing the park, we continued to walk to find the old school of CSD.When we got to the street that CSD was on, we weren’t sure where it was. When we started to walk one way and we found the front of the old school, which was not part of the college, California State University.
We took a look around and found this nice area that is open, it was gorgeous! Amazing! We stayed for like 15 minutes in that area, then we started to walk back the way we came so we can look at more stores and start heading back toward the can.When we started to head back, we went down this street and it had so many beautiful
flowers that we started to take pictures of. There were so many different colors and so many different kinds. Once we got back on the road that we were on originally before we went to look for CSD. When on the road again, we started to head back to the van. We stopped in this store called Wet Seal, because I asked if we could stop a while ago, it is my favorite store but CT doesn’t have. In there I bought two different shirts. After leaving, we walked back to the van and headed back to CSD in Fremont. Well that’s it for today, hope you find it interesting as I did! Adios!
