First, Anne came in 9:30 in the morning and woke me up with a little gesture. After I took my shower and got things ready, I sneaked into the kitchen with Anne and Charise that was when I made my first real egg for breakfast. I wasn’t nervous but it was very interesting because I asked Charise so many questions how to make a simple egg but now I know how to make it. Then we had a group opinion talk about the world’s society, it was very thought provoking.

Second, we got in the van and took off to San Jose, Ca to go to see Winchester Mystery House and it rated for most haunting places in America. I was so excited to see the house because I’ve never been to a haunted place. The history about the Winchester House is that this woman Sarah built the house for 38 years without stopping. She never stopped construction because she got a message from a ghost saying that if she stops building her house, she will die. So she never stopped and continued building for 38 years until she died in her sleep at age of 82.

The house was so fascinating, everything was so unique. I was be lead through doors and windows opening onto blank walls; a staircase from the floor to the ceiling; a door opening outward to an 8 foot drop off; and beautifully stained glass windows from New York. All of the decoration was made from different counties. It was phenomenal how an old building is still fascinating at this moment. Also, the house is still standing after the 1906 earthquake that happened. Some walls were damaged but it still stood strong, I was amazed at that. I was hoping to see some spirits in the house because it would be awesome to see one but nothing had come up.

After the tour, we walked around the history of the rifle company that Sarah’s husband use to own for. Inside, the place had a machine to tell your rate of romantic skills. Everyone had different ways, we all laughed at each, and it was good to see everyone to have the laughs. Then we walked around the garden that Sarah has planted. Some plants were so beautiful that we couldn’t keep our eyes off them. We had a good day and it was very interesting day for everyone, we hope to see more other haunting places.
