I was very appreciative that Darren stayed overnight in my house and we had good times to talking about catching up the news. We stayed up to about midnight then I went to the bed right away because I don’t want to be tired in the morning!

When we woke up at 5:30am, I am so tired and we had only about 30 minutes to be ready to go the McDonald’s to get in the bus to go the airport. My mother drove us to Dunkin Donuts and it is my favorite breakfast to eat! After that, Nancy and Anne picked us up to go to Stamford area to pick up Kangni and we are caught in the traffic! We almost had no time and were kind of late to get the JFK airport but we are so lucky that we didn’t miss the airplane!

When I am in the airplane, I thought that I am so lucky to have my baggage to be below than 50 pounds and my baggage weight was like 30 pounds. I always have a bad trip in the airplane because I had a stomach ache and sore throat and it really keeps me to drink a lot of water! I was so suffered to be tired in the airplane because I don’t want to sleep in the airplane and it will make me feel weird. Anyways, I enjoyed view of Rocky Mountains, Death Valley, and clouds. The clouds made me interested because sometimes the clouds change the shapes and made the airplane to be “bumpy”. I heard some of Anne’s stories about WW2 and Holocaust and I really was very fascinated and can’t imagine about that. Wow! I can’t wait to get there in San Francisco and when I looked down from the airplane window and the sandy desert in Nevada seems was very slow-moving and very dull to watching it and I felt like come on! But when I saw the California land, there were a lot of greens there such as some National Parks and it made me to think that we were landing very soon! But it was really not!

Finally, we arrived at San Francisco airport and we were very glad to get there but the airplane has kind of bad landing such as one bump really hard! We said like “WOOT!” and we were waiting for a rental van to get us to CSD in Fremont. San Francisco was completely different than Connecticut because San Francisco is more like much traffic and kind of no view of greens like in Connecticut and Washington from last year. Then we arrived to CSD and there are dry mountains that are next to it. It seems very nice to view but it was kind of boring because there is dull tan color on it.

Then, we went to the cottage and we had to figure out which the rooms that we reserved but it was kind of struggle but we did it! After that, we just relaxed and we are ready for tomorrow! Wish us luck!
